Thankyou Lord for this new day, please Lord, mould us, shape us, transform us, by changing the way we think, that we become the people you originally created us to be. Amen
ISAIAH 64:8
(And yet O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.)
We was formed by God’s hand, but because of sin, the world shaped us and formed us into sinners, we inherited sin from the start, and passed it on from generation to generation: We don’t have to look far to see the results of sin, increasing lawlessness, broken families, violence, persecution, war, sexual immortality, poor health, and death itself is as a result of sin. And the truth is, we can’t change it, our governments and world leaders are failing miserably, unavailable to fix the things of this world.
ROMANS 7:21-25
(I have discovered this principle of life-that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. I love God’s law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to sin that is still within me. Oh what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death. Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is; in my mind I really want to obey God’s laws, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin.)
People, we inherited sin, and we can’t change ourselves. But thank God, Jesus can, he has already paid for your sin with his own blood, now you must give your life back to him, and let him reshape you, be his clay, submit to him, and he will be the potter: Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (ROMANS 12:2) If you are to be the clay, then you need balance, clay with too much water becomes runny and useless in the potters hand, and clay that is too dry, crumbles in his hand. It’s the same for you, you need a balanced and healthy diet, and man can’t live on bread alone, so you need spiritual food, so read your bibles regularly, study the word that you continue to grow in Christ, keep yourselves clean in mind spirit and body, dress appropriately, and exercise, keep fit, for your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, (1 CORINTHIANS 6:19) so make Him comfortable by living clean and healthy lives, submit to His will, for you are the clay, and He is the potter, shaping you, doing great work within you, And I am certain that God, who started the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day Jesus Christ returns. (PHILIPPIANS 1:6) God bless you all. All glory to God forever and ever. Amen
